android - Test if 'Device Broadcast Status' in Spotify is toggled -


so i'm working app needs listen spotify activity. possible if user has 'device broadcast status' enabled.

what want test if setting toggled , if not, show dialog "if want use feature need enable device broadcast status".

there's similar post here on question there if it's possible app change setting, not want do, want know if it's on or off.

did more digging @ work , no, it's not possible.
