oracle - DSN name does not appear in Excel -
my notebook has windows 8 64 bit, microsoft office 2010 32 bit , oracle db 11gr2 64 bit installed. have created dsn access oracle databases via odbc sources 64 bit. want obtain data oracle database microsoft excel or access via odbc (in excel -> data - other sources - microsoft query). dsn name created earlier not appear. can do?
if application wants access odbc-datasource 32bit, need use 32bit version of odbc-driver.
in case use 32bit version of microsoft office access datasource, need use 32bit version of odbc-driver. configure dsn using
c:\windows\syswow64\odbcad32.exe
and show in 32bit version of office.
