node.js - Can't install anything with npm ECONNRESET without proxy -

i used node.js install things via npm without problems. changed nothing on settings (win8; no proxy, internet working) , can't install (especially cordova , ionic). throws errors i'm behind proxy, i'm not.

well, actually, want give comment question. because have low reputation, means can't give comment you.

if have trouble npm on windows. suggest take common errors of npm on wiki here. problem, please make sure using internet connection along proxy or not. if using it, please command npm config set proxy. found same problem on stackoverflow , solution is:

use

npm config set registry http://registry.npmjs.org/

so npm requests http url instead of https.

and try same npm install command.

don't forget clear cache doing npm cache clean.

although, way can solve problem. should consider security. way not safe way because can lead security problem since https not used here. don't recommend use on production (thanks @ivarni pointing out).
