openkinect - Freenect on fedora: Number of devices found: 0 -

hye. i'm trying use kinect xbox 1 on fedora 21. installed freenect/openkinect using official repository.

when plug kinect on computer dmesg | tail gives:

but can't find knew device knew device /dev/ , when try demonstration program doesn't find device , show:

kinect camera test number of devices found: 0 

did succeed use freenect on fedora?

are using appropriate ac adaptor connect sensor pc?!

i had similar issue , kept trying every thing days, , issue turned kinect ac adaptor... tried official windows sdk , developer toolkit, when attempted 1 of example codes issue persists appear clear message asking plug power cord in, though adaptor brand new!!

i searched information bout ac adaptor , seems there problem adaptor, , importantly kinect manual states unoriginal adaptors may cause device fail - manual says original ac adaptor power output 12v-1.1a while 1 have rated 12v-1.08a (no big deal knows)
