apache spark - sbt package command failing -


my simple.sbt contains:

    name := "simple project"      version := "1.0"      scalaversion := "2.10.4"      librarydependencies += "org.apache.spark" % "spark-core_2.10" % "1.1.1" 

when run 'sbt package' following error:

i saw similar question on stack overflow unable resolve this.. can please help?

i ran 'sbt debug package' , got following output:

    sagar@system:~$ sbt debug package     [info] loading project definition /home/sagar/.sbt     [info] set current project simple project (in build        file:/home/sagar/)     [error] not valid command: debug     [error] not valid project id: debug     [error] not valid configuration: debug     [error] not valid key: debug     [error] debug     [error]      ^
