SharePoint list view security with export to excel -


by using views in sharepoint can restrict has access data. example, on lookup, specifying filter when not empty can restrict access data permissions restricted on data in in related list. or, example, on created field being set [me]. can set permissions on views allow specific people access each view.

however, happens in regards access data when accessing excel? if connecting sharepoint data directly excel, able access data via views created, or can users access list data directly? can restrict has access list data in excel?

sharepoint view view change not manage permission in row or column level. if user connect list excel , have read permission on list can see data
