c++ - log4cplus properties file changes are not being read runtime -


is there configuration helps in log4cplus picking dynamic changes? changing log4cplus properties on runtime , want log4cplus pick changes dynamically.

there configureandwatchthread class can instantiate. spawn thread watch modification time changes on given configuration file. when notices modification time change future of last recorded modification time, remove instantiated loggers , appenders, etc., , reconfigure everything.

however, not sophisticated , there no defence against catching configuration file change mid air while still being written editor. if danger not important you, use it. otherwise, suggest build sort of manual trigger software make re-read logging configuration on trigger.
