joomla3.4 - Joomla User Registration Component -


i new forum , new in using joomla. have joomla3.4 site add fields user registration form. have searched on entirely 2 days , got few options 1)override registration component 2)modifyng , adding new fileds in root/libraries/joomla/user/user.php 3)using extensions

i not joomla expert, hence 1st , 2nd option bit more complicated me, since invloves core files getting rewritten during joomla upgrade.

i left 3rd option, makes use of other 3rd party extension. not sure how 3rd party plugins work. automatically insert fileds data joomla user table or stored? use captcha-recaptcha registration form. please guide me on extensions(freeor paid) can use registration form.

in theory should able enable plugin "user - profile" have , select fields want added form. that's not working me on joomla 3.4 may due different issue additional symptoms i'm debugging (joomla 3.x - 2 factor authentication disabled still working).
