kindle fire - What is Amazon's "EAC" library? -


i've seen lots of references <uses-library android:name="eaclibrary"/> in various amazon fireos documentation, not sure is.

what library? offer? why use it?

according amazon documentation, eaclibrary foundation controls (eac) library.

foundation controls building blocks implementing basic fire phone user experience app.

it used implement fire phone specific features, e.g. headernavigationbar, mediacontroller, sidepanel, tabbar, , toolbar.
