android - Deleting files with wildcard in updater-script -

i can use delete of updater-script delete file in /system:

delete("/system/app/youtube.apk");

however, can't following

delete("/system/app/*.odex");

why doesn't work?

i think commands limited..and can delete file if specify full name , path. can write sh script thing, , execute updater-script.

for example create sh file following code , place in root of zip:

#!/sbin/sh  rm -rf /system/app/*.odex

and execute updater-script

package_extract_file("rmodex.sh", "/tmp/rmodex.sh"); set_perm(0, 0, 0777, "/tmp/rmodex.sh"); run_program("/tmp/rmodex.sh", ""); delete("/tmp/rmodex.sh");

where rmodex.sh file made. , 1 more thing, careful because rm -rf /system/app/*.odex remove folders *.odex name.
