i have wordpress installation on wp folder.

i need clients write

www.example.com

in browser, , page

'about'

to displayed, preserving www.example.com address, not showing www.example.com/wp/about/ address.

which proper way this?.

you can assign go setting -> reading , choose page want display @ front page displays. can choose either page or posts.
