How to set a scatter chart legend in VBA? -


it seems simple problem, cannot find solution anywhere. have scatter chart created 2 columns of data in excel vba macro. there 500 points (pairs of xy values), 200 of have green color, rest blue. chart perfect , has except legend. want add simple legend on top of chart, below title, showing this: blue dot -- "data n1" , green dot -- "data n2".

how it?

how points colored differently? if use 2 series of x , y values, each series have own formatting , series name, both of displayed in legend. 1 of default legend positions "top", means between chart , chart title.
